Job Summary:
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The RN evaluates health status through ongoing data collection, provides health teaching and counseling, and delivers therapy and treatment to support life and well-being. Additional duties include executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, reviewing therapy plans, and documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
The role may require floating to other departments and being on-call during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
