  Blood Cancer Unit (632) at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's
• Location:
  
  1719 E 19th Ave, Denver, CO 80218
• Building:
  Main
• Number of Beds: 18
• Staff: 37 total (Day Shift: 1 charge, 3-5 RNs, 1 CNA; Night Shift: 1 charge, 3-5 RNs)
• Patient Ratios: 3-4:1
• Equipment: tele, bladder scanner, alaris pump, alaris PCA
• EMR:
  Meditech

• Provide close monitoring for short‑term, short‑duration patients requiring rapid fluid bolus, first fever protocols, and acute hematology patients. Step‑down experience is a plus.
• Administer medications: medications, blood and electrolyte replacements.
  
  Note:
  
  chemo/biotherapy may not be administered unless certified. Patient exposure to hazardous drugs is possible; education on handling excreta will be provided.

• Compassionate, adaptable, quick learner.
• Step‑down experience preferred.

• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year current Hospital acute care Oncology experience.
• Preferred:
  Chemo and biotherapy certificate; compassion for oncology and chronic patient populations.
