Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.
Our freestanding Emergency Department is a 12‑bed unit offering top‑tier emergency care to approximately 12,000 patients each year, operating 24/7 with a team of three nurses per shift.
Shift DetailsFull time, 36 hours per week, night shift.
Location:
Northglenn Healthcare Pavilion, Northglenn, Colorado.
- Assess: Perform appropriate assessment of physical, social, psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills. Seek and evaluate information from interdisciplinary team.
- Plan: Use assessment information and critical thinking to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care. Actively involve patient, family, and team in education. Prepare patients for further support needs.
- Implement: Direct interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration. Provide or delegate care per plan, guiding priorities and organizing resources.
- Evaluate: Evaluate patient response to interventions, review achievement of goals and outcomes, revise plan as needed.
- Professionalism: Promote nursing profession, participate in development of others, integrate legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, practice within scope of licensure.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact license transferable to state within 60 days of start.
- At least one year of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- BSN required as of 4/27/2025; earlier hires under older requirements count.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Must be able to see, read, and interpret information; verbally communicate and hear quickly; manipulate complex equipment; lift and transfer patients; navigate busy environments; stand for extended periods; drive if required.

Salary$37.45 - $57.29 per hour, depending on experience.
