We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This is a full-time role, in-person at our small clinic office located of I-25 and Colorado Blvd. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities, with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate mental health care.

This role involves collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient-centered services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and telehealth platforms. The PMHNP will utilize advanced clinical skills to manage complex cases, administer psychopharmacological treatments, and support patients’ mental well-being through evidence-based interventions. This role will be taking over a well established case load from a retiring provider, so we are a looking from someone with a couple of years of independent practice.

  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Valid licensure and certification to practice as a nurse practitioner in Colorado.
  • Demonstrated experience in behavioral health, including managing patients with acute pain management needs or substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles including medication administration techniques like IV infusion and venipuncture.
  • Experience working within hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or community-based settings such as assisted living or hospice & palliative medicine is preferred.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools like ICD-10 coding systems and CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including occupational health providers or physical therapists when necessary.
  • Additional skills in trauma-informed care, geriatrics are advantageous.
