Position Overview
RSA Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Pre‑Admission Testing Unit (PATU) assignment with a hospital in Denver, Colorado. This is a low‑stress, outpatient‑style opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and no call. It is a great opportunity for experienced or newer NP looking for a straightforward assignment.
ScheduleMonday – Thursday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. No weekends. No call.
Position DetailsDates of Coverage: 10/5/2026 – 1/5/2027.
Evaluate 5–15 pre‑operative patients per day.
Perform history and physical exams prior to scheduled surgeries.
Review diagnostic testing, including labs, EKGs, and imaging.
Identify abnormal findings or potential surgical risks and coordinate referrals when appropriate (such as Cardiology clearance for an abnormal EKG).
No procedures required.
No ICU rounding.
Shadow orientation provided.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
Active Colorado state license in hand.
Previous clinical experience preferred.
