Travel Cath Lab RN

Role Overview :

The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized cardiac care for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional treatments. Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting during procedures, monitoring vital signs and hemodynamics, managing equipment, and supporting post-procedure recovery.

• Assess patients prior to procedures, review medical history, and perform physical exams.
• Assist in patient positioning, equipment setup, and during interventions like catheter and device placements.
• Operate monitoring equipment, recognize abnormal rhythms, and respond accordingly.
• Manage post-procedure recovery, ensuring patient stability and safety.
• Maintain cath lab equipment, ensure safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team members.

• One year of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
• Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and engage effectively with team and patients.
