Position Summary
(LPN) Provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments and treatment to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness.
(RN) Provide direct nursing care and clinical support to individuals experiencing mental health conditions. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist with assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support overall treatment coordination.

Department Specific InformationThis is an inpatient position with our Behavioral Health Solutions Center and is a 24/7/365 first responder drop-off location for individuals in the community experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
Compensation- Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN) - $30.12/hr - $31.62/hr
- Psychiatric Nurse II (RN) - $39.06/hr - $40.56/hr
- Psychiatric Nurse III (BSN) - $43.08/hr - $44.08/hr
- Language Differential: $1 - $2.50/hr
- Provide psychological evaluations/problem identification, and crisis interventions.
- Provide medical case management as needed.
- Assist consumers with psychological, social development and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate medical care and intervention with staff and psychiatrist.
- Draw blood for lab work for consumers.
- Monitor consumers’ vital signs.
- Administer intramuscular medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Well Power standards.
- Participate in team meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
- Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Conduct basic health assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, including intramuscular injections.
- Draw blood and assist with lab coordination.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical staff to support medical and psychiatric care.
Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention. - Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
- Support client engagement in care coordination and referrals to internal or external resources.
- Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision as needed.
- Foster a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. License must be in good standing.
- Minimum two years nursing experience; experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinic preferred.
- Experience with the severe and persistently mentally ill or similar populations strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
- Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
