This position involves practicing advanced nursing or physician assistant responsibilities, including independent patient care, medical functions, and collaboration with physicians. The role requires applying scientific principles to evaluate, diagnose, and treat various health conditions across specialties like Emergency, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection:
    Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, review lab/radiologic studies, and access patient records.
  • Assessment & Diagnosis:
    Formulate accurate diagnoses and differential diagnoses.
  • Treatment Planning:
    Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication orders, testing, and consultations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Procedures &

    Education:

    Perform procedures within expertise, educate patients on treatment, disease prevention, and health promotion.
  • Documentation & Other Tasks:
    Record all patient data, manage telehealth encounters, handle urgent situations, and perform administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Graduate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree with accreditation for PA.
  • Valid licenses, certifications, and registration as specified, including prescriptive authority.
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and maintain professional competence.
  • Knowledge of laws, policies, and cultural sensitivity in patient care.
Additional Requirements
  • Participation in credentialing, ongoing education, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses, certifications, and DEA registration.
  • Preferred oncology experience; travel may be required within the region.
