Qualifications & Skills- For APNs:
Master's in Nursing, valid licensure, and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatrics or Family); BLS and NPI required. - For PAs:
Bachelor's degree, ARC-PA accredited program completion, Physician Assistant license, certification, BLS, NPI, and DEA registration. - Additional requirements include credentialing, procedural sedation competency (if applicable), and adherence to legal standards.
- Perform comprehensive data collection and assessment.
- Develop and implement safe, effective treatment plans.
- Conduct procedures within expertise and legal scope.
- Educate patients on health and disease prevention.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly.
