Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for our busy telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care hospitals and be proficient in telemetry monitoring. This position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care on the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' telemetry for any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and provide treatment as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform procedures such as IV and Foley catheter placements.
- Assist in the removal of chest tubes as directed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience caring for post-op CABG patients is preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus.
