Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Travel Emergency Department RN Opportunity

Provide acute care as a travel Emergency Department RN in a fast-paced hospital setting. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple shifts in a busy ED environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients presenting with diverse medical conditions.
• Perform procedures such as EKGs, IV placements, medication administration, and wound care.
• Monitor patient status using GE monitors and Baxter pumps, and update EMR (Meditech) accurately.
• Assist with conscious sedation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Float between ED departments as needed to ensure optimal patient coverage.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care ED experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS required.
• Experience in emergency charge nursing and flexibility to float departments preferred.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and teamwork.
• Ability to work 7P-7A shifts and manage patient ratios of 1:4 effectively.
