Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Travel Nurse Emergency Room Position

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for travel assignments in the Emergency Room. Join a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing critical care and leveraging advanced technology in a well-equipped facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions.
• Perform EKGs, IV insertions, medication administration, and assist with conscious sedation and wound care.
• Monitor patient status using GE monitors and utilize Baxter pumps effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the Meditech EMR.
• Float between ED departments as needed, ensuring seamless patient care transition.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience.
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE monitors and Baxter pumps.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work mid-shift and night shift schedules reliably.
• ER charge RN experience and willingness to float are preferred.
