• start date depends on once background checks are cleared (flexibility needed)
• 14 weeks long contract
• $2,947/wk for travel nurses
• $2,016/wk for local nurses
• 36 hours/wk 12 hour shift (block shifts)
• you'll be assigned one of three day shifts (can make not of preference)
• Shift 1:
  Wed-Fri
• Shift 2:
  Thurs-Sat,
• Shift 3:
  Sat-Mon,
• 1 year minimum of correctional experience
• Denver Reception & Diagnostic serves as the entry point for all CDOC inmates, providing comprehensive medical, mental health, assessment, and specialized care services

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
