Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a seasonal travel basis. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment with a focus on neonatal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, central line placement, and PIV insertion.
• Monitor and manage complex respiratory equipment such as ventilators and high-flow nasal cannulas.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR systems.
• Adhere to evidence-based NICU standards and unit policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license valid in Colorado or applicable state.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent, acute care experience in a Level IV NICU.
• Maintain current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with advanced neonatal procedures and complex care pathways.
• Show professionalism, accountability, and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
