Breast Oncology RN Navigator
The Breast Oncology RN Navigator serves as a dedicated advocate and care coordinator for patients throughout their breast cancer journey. Working closely with patients, caregivers, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams, this role assesses individual needs, develops personalized care plans, provides education, and connects patients with internal and community-based resources. The RN Navigator facilitates seamless transitions across the continuum of care, supports timely access to treatments and services, enhances the patient experience, and empowers patients to make informed decisions while navigating diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and follow-up care.

Minimum Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Education will be verified.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
- Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology, infusion, care management, navigation, or a related specialty.
- Strong communication, patient education, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and document information accurately, including patient records, care plans, and educational materials.
- Frequent interaction with patients, families, physicians, and care team members requiring effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills to coordinate care, document patient interactions, access clinical information, and manage navigation activities.
- Ability to move throughout clinical and office environments, including walking between departments and attending patient care team meetings.
- May occasionally assist patients, move supplies, or transport materials as needed.
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while conducting patient assessments, care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
- Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to patient needs, changes in condition, and urgent situations requiring timely intervention and collaboration with the care team.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
