Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU/Same Day Surgery position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) in Colorado required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU or related specialty required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• ,-day surgery unit performing PACU nursing care
• 4x9-hour shifts, weekdays, day shift
• Cross-coverage in pre-op required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• On-call required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Uses Epic charting system
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Previous permanent employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
