12 hours/day 3 days/week

Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM

Night Shift

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 24 licensed spots
• Number of Staff – 41
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge with an assignment, No nursing aids utilized. Staffing depends on acuity.
  • Night Shift – same as above
• Type of equipment – Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicine
• EMR
  - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS & NRP
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience

• PICU experience
• PALS

• Circs, Pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, No Nitric or no head/body cooling.
• PIV's, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications. Blood draws from arterial, heel and venous.
• Transitions are observed in NICU, delivery experience as NICU attends all high risk deliveries.

• Friendly, approachable, visible and caring
• Patient care experience is a priority along with communication to staff and providers
• Respectful and is able to adapt to our HCA HealthONE Rose culture
