Travel RN – Emergency Department

Denver, CO | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge)
• Perform procedures including port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal wash, Foley placement, and EKG
• Conduct point-of-care testing including troponin, lactic acid, and urine dip
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, EMTs, and unit clerks across day and night shifts

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC required (PALS will be accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card required
• Ability to work with GE monitoring equipment

• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
• CPEN certification and/or ultrasound-guided IV competency
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience
