Travel RN – NICU

Denver, CO | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a 24-bed Level III NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including oscillators, ventilators, bubble CPAP, central lines, and ABG machines
• Assist with Level III procedures such as pneumo taps, intubations, and chest tubes; administer medications, blood products, and pump feeds
• Perform blood draws from arterial, heel, and venous sites; manage PIV placement and medication administration
• Attend high-risk deliveries as a NICU representative and support neonatal transitions of care
• Communicate effectively with staff and providers; document patient care using the Meditech EMR

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience required

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• PICU experience
• PALS certification

• Work alongside an experienced team of 41 staff members in a well-equipped Level III NICU utilizing advanced technology including telemedicine and oscillators
• Gain exposure to a high-acuity neonatal environment with diverse clinical experiences including high-risk delivery attendance and a wide range of Level III procedures
