Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Weare seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant tojoin a collaborative Trauma Surgery team in Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced trauma surgeons in a Level I Trauma Center a nd fast-paced academic teaching environment. The position focuses primarily on inpatient trauma and acute surgical care, with opportunities to develop additional skills in ICU procedures and OR assistance.

• Full-time permanent position
• Level I Trauma Center
• 147 shifts annually
• 12-hour shifts
• Primarily inpatient Trauma Surgery coverage
• Approximately 3-4 outpatient clinic hours per week

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care totrauma and acute surgical patients.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
• Assist with the management ofhigh-acuity trauma and surgical cases.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and hospital privileges.
• Assist in the OR as needed.
• Participate in rounds, patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons,residents, nursing, critical care, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide limited outpatient clinic coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

• Active Colorado NP or PA license, orability to obtain.
• 1-2 years of Trauma Surgery experience preferred.
