- Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
- Conduct interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
- Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
- Access community resources
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties
- Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians
- PRIOR DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
- ACLS certification required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required
Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, including dialysis treatment oversight and interdisciplinary planning. Holds essential nursing certifications and a valid RN license, ensuring high-quality care and patient education.
