We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)to join our team as an independent contractor. This position offers unmatched flexibility, with opportunities to provide psychiatric care through telehealth, in-office sessions, or a combination of both. The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, committed to patient-centered care, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
- Provide telepsychiatry and/or in-office visits based on patient needs and practitioner availability.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient encounters in compliance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Active
Colorado state license
as a Nurse Practitioner with
psychiatric/mental health specialization (PMHNP-BC required). - Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Colorado.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health care preferred (new graduates with strong clinical experience will be considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.
