Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Nurse Director NICU! Sign on Bonus and Relocation!
Responsibility and accountability for care delivery. Provide leadership for improving patient care, planning, staff performance, systems improvements, and other programs that support the culture of the hospital’s strategic objectives. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance and drive an integrated model of person-centered care. Provide leadership and coordination of clinical practice standards and ensure clinical care is provided according to quality, licensing, and accreditation standards.
Supports an environment of continuous improvement, promoting evidence-based practice and patient care delivery. Measures actual budgetary performance and drives systematic improvement in collaboration with ACNO.
- 2 NICUs - a lower level where they see babies who need help eating, growing and are about ready to discharge. This is a Level IV NICU where they see the sickest babies (advanced respiratory, premature, surgical needs)
- Shift: M-F Admin Hours - there is an On-Call Requirement where they split being on call with 2 others.
- Director will work closely with the Level II NICU
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
- BSN required, MSN, or other healthcare-related advanced degree, e.g., MBA, or MHA is preferred.
- 5 years of acute care/specialty nursing is NICU
- 3 years of previous experience in a charge/supervisory or management position
