About This Role
The Registered Nurse - Urgent Care Float Pool at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care through independent and delegated medical functions. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in patient-centered care and are skilled in assessing and addressing diverse health needs.

- Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
- Analyze reports and records data.
- Use data to identify health care problems and create plans.
- Prioritize patients' needs.
- Triage patients in person or via telephone and implement proper course of action.
- Evaluate emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and/or their families.
- Execute delegated medical functions consistent with the medical plan prescribed by a physician.
- Facilitate the coordination and integration of care between health care services.
