Position Summary:

The patient care director will have operational responsibility and accountability for care delivery within their business unit and hospital. Provide leadership for improving patient care, planning, staff performance, systems improvements, and other programs that support the culture of HCA HealthONE Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and Rocky Mountain Children’s, as well as, HealthONE’s strategic objectives.

The director will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance and drive an integrated model of person-centered care. Provide leadership and coordination of clinical practice standards and ensure clinical care is provided according to quality, licensing, and accreditation standards. Supports an environment of continuous improvement, promoting evidence-based practice and patient care delivery. Measures actual budgetary performance and drives systematic improvement in collaboration with ACNO.

May also provide direct patient care when needed.
