Description:
Travel RN position for Postpartum unit.
This unit has 23 beds and approximately 80 staff members.
Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs on the floor, and 2-3 RNs in the nursery during night shifts.
Patient ratios are estimated at 3-4:1.The main computer system utilized is CPN EMR
- Meditech / CPN.Candidates must possess the ability to educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding.
Candidates should be compassionate, patient, and team-oriented.
Communication with staff and providers is a priority for this role.
Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations are essential.
