American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior ICU specialty experience.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS, none may expire prior to start date
• Minimum two years of RN experience required, including one year in the CVICU specialty
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Documentation required for consideration includes date of birth and last four digits of SSN

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiovascular ICU patients
• Provide therapy, treatment, health teaching, and counseling directly or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with a firm documentation due date
