American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic for charting
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Active RN license (CO or compact) required
- BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
