Safety Coordinator

Our client, an industry-leading organization, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the safety and compliance department supporting operational safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Denver, CO

Pay Range: $58.42

Shift: Days

What's the Job?

  • Define and document policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies to support operational goals and reduce incidents.
  • Coordinate employee compliance training and ensure completion of all required courses.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with safety policies and investigate any complaints or deficiencies.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop corrective action plans.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety, environmental management, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in safety, environmental, or transportation safety within warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Certification in safety (such as CSP) or working toward such certification is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with proof of liability coverage meeting company standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams.
