Location and Field

This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Geography covers the entire states of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada.

Role Overview

The Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) proactively engages with allied healthcare professionals to provide product and disease education, supporting patient management before, during and after therapy. The ONE focuses on ongoing education and resources related to patient management, dosing, administration, and side‑effect management, and collaborates with field teams to ensure education support for clinicians.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts:
    • Provide proactive and reactive education with approved resources to patient‑care team members.
    • Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
    • Educate on preparation and administration requirements of TA products; adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
    • Interpret and communicate relevant clinical education topics to diverse audiences.
    • Educate on disease‑state awareness, including clinical and operational aspects of appropriate patient diagnosis.
    • Provide education programs through 1:1 presentations, in‑services, round‑table discussions, and podium presentations.
  • Educate patient‑care teams about the infusion process associated with the product.
  • Utilize strategic questioning and active listening to document and share clinical insights.
  • Attend and provide clinical information at national, regional, and local meetings.
  • Provide staff support at exhibit booths and displays as needed.
  • Support clinical training initiatives and improve internal sales team competencies.
  • Collaborate across functional areas such as sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and evidence.
  • Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy settings using approved materials.
Qualifications
  • Clinical degree:
    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or NP. Master’s level education preferred.
  • 3+ years of combined clinical experience and/or pharmaceutical sales, clinical educator, or medical affairs experience; oncology preferred.
  • Experience in infusion center setting, including chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to change and learning.
  • Experience interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
  • Recognition of evolving oncology market trends.
  • Success operating within a cross‑functional team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related applications.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: USD 132,000 - USD 238,000 per year, based on position grade and location. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and eligibility for long‑term incentive programs.
