Job SummaryAs an Electrical QA/QC Technician at Loenbro Mission Critical, you will ensure the highest quality and safety standards for electrical projects by conducting inspections, tests, and quality control measures.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust QA/QC program for electrical projects, including review of plans and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Perform electrical testing, measurements, and functional checks to ensure integrity, safety, and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non‑conformance issues; prepare and submit comprehensive reports to project managers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality‑related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support to project personnel regarding quality and safety standards.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications- 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the electrical industry.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of testing equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- OSHA 10 or higher and other safety certifications are highly preferred.
Physical demands include walking, standing, and climbing stairs and ladders. The position may require travel to project sites and occasional evening or weekend work. The work environment includes outdoor exposure to extreme temperatures and uneven terrain.
