We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and quality engineering efforts within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
This is a leadership opportunity for a hands-on quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced production setting and is passionate about continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do- Lead all quality assurance and quality engineering activities across manufacturing operations
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Drive quality performance initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving product reliability
- Lead customer quality investigations and corrective actions using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Oversee supplier quality initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership to drive process improvements
- Analyze quality data, process capability, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and quality planning activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality) or related field
- 5-7+ years of progressive Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing quality teams or functions
- Strong experience with Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans)
- Proven background in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- Experience leading audits and maintaining compliance with quality standards
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability, and manufacturing quality systems
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CMQ/OE, or equivalent)
- Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, precision machining, or high-volume production
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems (JDE or similar)
- Track record of improving key quality metrics such as COPQ, FPY, and customer satisfaction
