Position OverviewWe are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Head of Operations to own our coffee roasting facility operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys detailed organization, consistent improvement over time, values consistency and quality, and is excited to be part of a purpose‑driven coffee company.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of operations including roasting, production, fulfillment, customer engagement, website management, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Organize weekly production planning/scheduling and order fulfillment
- Manage a small team of personnel who handle roasting, production and order fulfillment
- Assist with production and fulfillment as necessary
- Act as the single point of contact for wholesale and retail clients/customer support
- Maintain inventory of bags, merchandise, equipment and packaging materials
- Own facility organization/cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with the Head of Coffee on quality control processes, including sample roasting and cupping (as trained)
- Safely operate all equipment in the facility
- Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented work environment
- Experience in operations management in a similar industry
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Working knowledge of the specialty coffee industry
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a physically active, production‑focused environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Experience with Loring roasters, specifically the S15 Falcon
- Experience with green coffee buying and sourcing
- Familiarity with roast profiling and production tracking tools (Cropster, Roaster Tools, etc.)
- Exposure to cupping or quality control processes
- Barista experience

- Salary for Full-time: $60k – $70k depending on experience
