Candidate Requirement:
Only candidates local to Denver, CO will be considered. No relocation candidates will be considered.

Scope of Project
  • Strong foundational knowledge of manual testing principles, including test case design, functional, regression, API, and performance testing, and defect management.
  • Technical skill to write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Type Script, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, and other tools.
  • Proficiency in using developer tools, reading error logs, and tracing the source of issues to provide detailed information to developers, including Google Dev Tools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, heap dumps, etc.
  • Proficiency in translating high-level business and functional requirements into detailed, efficient, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide quality assurance measures, testing standards, and current best practices.
  • Knowledge of identifying potential quality risks, assessing their impact and likelihood, and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to proactively identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle rather than reactively finding them later.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with software engineers, system personnel, and management.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges, pivot strategies when data suggests a different path, and remain resilient in the face of setbacks.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Competency with test management tools such as Zephyr Scale, Git Lab, etc., for logging bugs and tracking test progress.

  • Experience with specialized test data management and data governance platforms.
  • Ability to analyze test requirements and profile existing production data.
  • Deep understanding of core testing principles, including test case design techniques such as boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning, defect life cycles, and how testing integrates into various methodologies.
  • Technical skill to design realistic performance test scenarios, including scripting user journeys, parameterizing data, and creating load models.
  • Ability to systematically break down complex processes.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages.
  • Ability to execute predefined test cases and perform unscripted exploratory testing.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Attends meetings and training as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
  • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
  • Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data.
  • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Required/Preferred Skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
