Our client is a fast-growing contract manufacturer based in the Denver, Colorado area, serving industries where precision is non-negotiable: aerospace, defense, space, motorsports, energy, and semiconductors. This company has built its reputation on solving hard engineering problems for demanding customers, combining advanced CNC machining, metal additive manufacturing, and specialty materials processing under one roof.

With a growing fleet of multi-axis machining centers and metal 3D printing systems, along with in-house inspection and metrology capabilities, this company delivers an end-to-end manufacturing solution rather than a single point service. The organization holds AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification, is ITAR registered, and maintains CMMC compliance, reflecting the rigor expected by its aerospace, defense, and government-adjacent customer base.

This is a privately held company that has scaled quickly since its founding in the early 2010s, and it continues to invest in equipment, talent, and process maturity as it takes on increasingly complex programs.

The company is still in a build phase from a quality systems standpoint, which means this hire will have real influence over how processes, documentation, and culture take shape going forward, rather than simply maintaining someone else's playbook. • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, materials science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• 5 or more years of progressive quality experience in a precision manufacturing setting, ideally including aerospace, defense, or other tightly regulated industries
• Direct experience operating within an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system, including audit preparation and maintenance
• Familiarity with ITAR requirements and export controlled environments
• Working knowledge of CMMC or similar cybersecurity/compliance frameworks is a plus
• Experience with CNC machining and/or metal additive manufacturing quality requirements, including GD&T, dimensional inspection, and first article inspection (AS9102 or similar)
• Strong root cause and corrective action (RCCA) skills, including 8D, fishbone, and similar problem solving methodologies
• Experience managing supplier quality, nonconformance processes, and internal audits
• Proven ability to lead and develop a quality team, not just execute individual quality tasks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the quality function credibly to customers, auditors, and executive leadership
• Comfort operating in a fast paced, still maturing organization where processes are actively being built and refined
