• Conduct molecular and cellular biology experiment
• Collect and analyze data
• Lab set up and maintenance
• Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations
• Lab ordering assistance

• Academic and/or work experience related to the field of research (molecular and cellular biology)

• This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field
• Must be willing to work in the lab space on campus

• Strong interest in pursuing research as a possible career path
• Standard lab environment.
• Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
• Noise level is quiet to moderate.

• Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.

• Technicians will be paid $20.00/hrwith the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance.
• In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per weeks.
