The Hume Lab at National Jewish Health seeks a Lab Researcher to study how cigarette smoke and e-cigarette vapor affect immune defenses in the lung. You will work with human and mouse macrophages, tissue, and bacterial cultures, performing experiments and maintaining a tissue bank in a collaborative setting.
You’ll gain experience with cell culture, sterile techniques, and data analysis, presenting findings at lab meetings and supporting day-to-day operations.
