Pastry Cook 4 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center must have an in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner, and will daily monitor food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels and department training.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional pastry cooking experience, including high volume restaurant experience and banquet production experience. Candidate must display good communication skills, as well as advanced knowledge of different preparation methods. Formal culinary training preferred. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, guest contact experience and culinary teaching skills and knowledge.
This position involves standing on feet for long periods of time and requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate amounts of weight. Candidates must have open availability, on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications- Must have at least 5 years of professional pastry experience.
- Must have good communication skills and demonstrate creativity.
- Formal culinary training preferred, but not required.
- This position requires the ability to stand for the duration of the shift; and to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.
- This position involves following recipe cards and executing verbal tasks with minimal supervision.
- This position involves maintaining a prep inventory, and keeping all items labeled, dated, and rotated for freshness.

The hourly rate for this position is $27.01.
