Venues Bartender Part-time

Venues Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations in our Assembly Hall Bar + Market, Former Saint Restaurant and Peaks Lounge. Our Venues are an urban, artful and modern addition to the Hyatt Regency Denver, an 1,100 room hotel, located in the heart of downtown across from the Colorado Convention Center. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar.

This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines, previous bartending or bar back experience is required.

This part-time position requires open availability, must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Shift times will vary Monday - Friday, shifts will start between 1pm - 5pm and ending times will be between 9:30pm-1:30am, Saturday - Sunday, shifts will start between 10am - 5pm and ending times will be between 6:30pm-1:30am.

Qualifications for this position:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Two years of previous high-volume bartending experience required.
• Must demonstrate excellent communications skills.
• This position involves a considerable amount of standing; and the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.

This position is a tipped position with an hourly rate of $16.27/hour. Must be willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays

• Sick pay - Earn (1) hour of sick pay for every (30) hours worked with a maximum of (48) hours per year.
