Job Description

Empower Field is the home of the Denver Broncos and a wide variety of concerts and specialty events! Our grill cooks are responsible for cooking the different foods items a concession stand has to offer.

The Lead Bartender is responsible for conducting opening and ending inventory counts for each event, placing product orders and documenting product transfers during events, and overseeing closing duties.

This position is considered an Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for this position is $16.95 to $17.70 . If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurately operate a register/Point of Sale (POS) and handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
  • Count, organize, and balance a cash drawer, fill out cashier slip, and make deposits as required.
  • Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions.
  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and tearing down a concession stand – place inventory orders as needed during events and in preparation of the next event.
  • Accurately account for inventory at the beginning and end of each event.
  • Place orders and document product transfers during events.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operating hours.
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
  • Ensure product at assigned location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including checking patrons’ valid identification to ensure minimum age requirements.
  • Maintain excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co‑workers.
  • Ensure security of company assets.
  • Accept constructive feedback and provide ideas, concerns to and from leadership.

This role reports directly to Concessions Supervisor and Manager and/or Director of Concessions with oversight by Alcohol Compliance Supervisor.

Qualifications
  • 21 years of age or older (Required)
  • Previous bartender experience (Preferred)
  • Previous cash handling experience (Preferred)
  • TEAM/TIPS Certification (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
  • Serv Safe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
