Overview
As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers and help them with our product styles, features, and benefits. You will foster a welcoming and inclusive environment and continually educate yourself and your team on product lines.

- Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate moments from preemie to size 14.
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
- Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
- Consistently model service standards and the omni-channel experience while coaching others to success.
- Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow-through.
- Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Utilize customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement actions to drive results.
- Build customer loyalty through company-sponsored programs, including credit.
- Provide in-the-moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager.
- Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
- Support store team with Asset Protection through consistent customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.).
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- A variety of skills and experiences relevant to the role.
- Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling; stand or walk for extended periods; climb ladders.
- Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.75 - $21.75 per hour based on experience and location. Carter’s is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
