Part‑Time Sales Floor Associate - Lakeside Store

Works to bring processed clothing to the sales floor, keep the sales floor organized and presentable, and interact with customers to provide assistance. Excellent customer service skills are required.
Store hours: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday; 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. Part‑time positions are available. Availability is required Monday through Friday with evenings preferred.
Pay: $15.95 per hour. Part‑time employees are eligible for Daily Pay and other employee benefits including paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty leave, and bereavement leave. Employees may also contribute to the retirement plan.
JOB SUMMARY: The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked, clean, and presentable. The Associate interacts with customers, delivers excellent customer service, and maintains overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
- Acts as an ambassador of pricing according to Goodwill standards of quality and value (good, better, best), researching the item’s value on the internet or using company tools as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning shelves and racks, picking items off the floor, and putting away product from racks, carts, or baskets, including returned or unwanted items.
- Ensures sales floor areas are properly merchandised to standard (categorized, colorized, sized) and makes decisions to flex product to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
- Assists production by communicating targeted needs for the floor to the manager on duty.
- Provides excellent customer service to staff and customers by adhering to the 10‑foot rule and answering product questions as needed.
- Rotates or pulls old or unsold product(s) from the sales floor to refresh product selection as necessary.
- Provides E‑Commerce product identification and pulls product from the sales floor.
- Follows all retail center policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Cross‑trains in other departments or areas; acts as a back‑up for other areas as required.
- Other job duties may be added as required.

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
- One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
- Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
Other:
- Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
- Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
- Ability to use judgment to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
- Ability to see color and use judgment for product assessment.
- Effective communication with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
- Ability to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
