Position: Full Time Retail Associate

Our Cherry Creek Retail store is currently looking to add a part‑time associate to our team. We are looking for someone who loves customer service, has a positive attitude and feels comfortable engaging with our great customers.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Retail Associate is responsible to assist customers in the store with purchases and placing orders for shipment. This person is also responsible to assist with maintaining inventory levels and store cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service to all customers and staff

Assist customers with purchases using point of sale system.

Prepare specialty packages according to instructions

Assist with quality control (to include monitoring product freshness and appearance)

Be thoroughly familiar with mail order procedures

Keep candy trays and containers filled and clean

Courteously and accurately assist with orders or questions from telephone customers

Arrive to work on time and when scheduled

Assist with monthly inventory count/orders

Stock retail freezer

Assist in coffee bar as needed

Ability to work flexible schedule as assigned including weekends.

Perform light janitorial and Good Manufacturing Practices as assigned

Responsible for being familiar with the company HACCP policy and shared responsibility in HACCP compliance

Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skill and Ability: follow directions and safety procedures; maintain quality standards at all times; work well within a team environment; fluency in written and spoken English; mathematical accuracy

Tools, Equipment or Machinery Used
: scale, point of sale machine, sealer, tape gun, calculator

Minimum Physical Requirements
: stand for the majority of the day; lift up to 30 lbs; bend, stoop, climb, kneel, see, hear; handle or feel objects and tools, grasp, turn, raise arms above shoulder height

Personal Qualities
: quantity and accuracy; cooperation and reliability; initiative, alertness, judgment, cleanliness; efficient management of work time
