Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented people to join our staff.

We are hiring for an Assistant Store Manager for our store in Byers, CO location. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Looking for an amazing, energetic person that can support the store manager and help lead a team of 20-35 people.

The assistant manager needs to have excellent people skills to manage their team, resolve conflicts with customers and communicate with upper management. We are seeking a friendly, optimistic and personable person who can connect with and motivate different personality types. They encourage others to accomplish goals together and support one another to exceed customer expectations and meet sales targets. They are good at resolving conflicts and devising creative solutions to problems for their staff and customers.

We are looking for someone that can oversee all aspects of operations while creating a positive team atmosphere when the manager is off.

• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
• Train, delegate, and supervise staff and maintain selling goals.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety throughout the store.
• Work flexible hours & maintain payroll dollars.
• Follow loss prevention guidelines.
• Experienced merchandiser.
• Computer savvy, able to generate reports.
• A strong customer service skill since this is a customer-oriented job.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to work with teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills towards customers, staff members and store manager.
• Great attention to detail for purposes of building attractive marketing displays, arranging merchandise and maintaining store appearance.
• Ability to lift heavy merchandise, walk and stand for long hours and a strong ongoing presence when the manager is off.
