• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

• Any previous comparable experience or equivalent experience as a pharmacy clerk.
• Familiarity with EPRN.
• Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
• Compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations, and ability to identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Knowledge of ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers and computerized inventory management.
• Maintain departmental standards, including cleanliness of work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Counting, measuring, and preparing specified products using company best practices.
• Complete billing procedures accurately to assure best value to the customer and the company.
• Answer phone and triage calls, and provide inquiries as appropriate.
• Understand and adhere to guidelines on vendor coupons, cash shortages, shrink guidelines, and cashier handling policies to prevent loss.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
