Job SummaryThe Associate I, Retail Production will work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items, pricing, testing, and placing products on the sales floor. The role includes stocking the floor, communicating with customers and staff, and working various area types such as hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, books, and shoes. Occasional duties include donation processing and e‑commerce product flow.
Essential Functions- Meet or exceed productivity standards and KPIs.
- Sort donated items by type, season, color, and quality.
- Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale.
- Inspect and quick‑test items that plug in or use batteries.
- Determine prices according to Goodwill standards (good, better, best) and research online values.
- Ensure production and floor areas are organized, stocked, merchandised, and clean.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers.
- Rotate or pull old or unsold product to refresh selection.
- Process e‑commerce products (sort, hang, size, price, tag).
- Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
- Maintain clear and organized work areas with continuous improvement focus.
- Adhere to safety processes and procedures.
- Cross‑train in other departments and act as a backup as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: One year of retail experience preferred.

- Attention to detail and decision‑making ability.
- Basic technology usage; follow company standards.
- Judgement to assess product quality, value, and pricing; research value as needed.
- Color recognition and judgement for quality assessment.
- Effective communication with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
- Use of a dolly and pallet jack as required.
- Work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.
