Production Associate - Archer Store
Full-Time position available. Please tell us about your availability. For this position, availability to work Sunday is a must! Shift will be a Day Shift.
This position will work to process donated items into inventory to be sold in our Stores and will interact with customers while stocking the sales floor. Excellent customer service skills are a must! This position works in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
The Associate I, Retail Production will primarily work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold. This process includes pricing and testing guidelines as required. The Associate is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service. The Associate may be assigned to various areas that they have been trained in to include hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, mechanical goods, books, or shoes per the business needs. This position may occasionally work in donations.
Essential functions include meeting or exceeding minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) for assigned duties, sorting donated items by type, hanging, sizing and pricing items to be sold on the sales floor, inspecting and quick testing items as needed, making decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product, ensuring production and sales floor areas are well organized, stocked, properly merchandised, and clean, providing excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers, rotating or pulling old or unsold product in a timely manner from the sales floor to ensure product selection is refreshed as necessary, following all retail center policies and procedures, ensuring work areas are clear and organized and adhering to continuous improvement standards, following all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers, cross-training in other departments or areas;
acting as a back-up for other areas as required, and job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.

Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
One (1) year of retail experience is preferred. Other:
Must have attention to detail and ability to make decisions. Ability to use basic technologies to be able to follow company standards. Ability to use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary. Ability to see color and use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
Must have the ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required. Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
