Position: Team Captain Endzone & Loyalty (Front End)

Overview

We are dedicated to creating confidence and excitement by equipping athletes for success. As a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty, you will lead the athlete experience, coaching teammates and driving engagement in loyalty programs while delivering fast, friendly checkout experiences.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing accurate product information.
  • Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
  • Promote and lead company programs (e.g., customer loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
  • Develop and support 30‑60‑90 day plans with the SM and ASM to meet business priorities.
  • Create and adjust operational plans, staffing, hiring, and budgeting to support departmental goals.
  • Act as Head Coach when sole leader, overseeing front‑end, cash office functions, and teammate supervision.
  • Communicate departmental goals, assign workload, and monitor progress against plans.
  • Develop effective schedules for direct reports to meet athlete traffic demands and operational initiatives.
  • Build a strong, effective team: source, interview, hire, onboard, and retain staff.
  • Train teammates, provide coaching, feedback, development, recognition, and motivation.
  • Manage performance: conduct annual reviews, recommend promotions, and handle performance accountability.
  • Maintain a welcoming store environment for teammates and athletes.
  • Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, and comply with applicable laws.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1‑3 years of retail/customer‑facing experience.
  • Previous people‑leadership experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Targeted pay range: $49,500.00 – $63,500.00 based on a 38‑hour work week.
