Job Overview
This position is responsible for developing and analyzing cost analysis reports, project schedules, and supporting the execution of organizationally strategic projects. The role coordinates with Project Managers to assemble budget and forecast data, provides integrated reporting, and advises on financial and schedule work breakdown structures. The incumbent serves as a subject‑matter expert, training stakeholders and ensuring alignment of capital cost reporting tools.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain cost analysis reports, schedule work breakdown structures, and resource loading profiles.
- Provide standardized reporting for regional capital project stakeholders and executive management on project level business area capital expenditures.
- Support Project Managers in assessing work progress against project baselines and key performance indicators.
- Assist in preparing project Cost Analysis Reports and various cost analyses.
- Facilitate execution of strategic projects for all aspects of project cost controls.
- Integrate capital cost reporting tools, including the Work and Asset Management System, with other financial systems.
- Train and mentor stakeholders on using the Work and Asset Management System, scheduling software, and project management processes.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley key controls and provide reporting and tracking for applicable controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project controls experience.
- Expert or highly proficient knowledge of cost control, project cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in standard server software applications and in scheduling and cost estimating software.
- Comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and financial obligations applicable to projects.
- Experience with enterprise‑based scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Business Objects, and SAP software.
- Professional certification through PMI, ASCE, or another accredited organization.
Anticipated starting base pay: $73,700.00 to $ per year.
