Merchandiser – Arvada, Lakewood, Golden, Littleton and surrounding areas

$24.90 / hour

The Merchandiser is responsible for product merchandising in large-volume stores such as grocery. Duties include stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor. The role is labor‑intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and moving cases weighing 20‑45 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products.

The schedule is consistent with specific start times and customer periods, but flexibility for varied work hours is possible.

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
• Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf locations
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U‑boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks)
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners
• Keep back‑room stock neat and orderly
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi Co management
• Build customer relationships at the store level
• Comply with operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, designated route)
• Service accounts during designated times established by management
• Deliver customer service – communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Use handheld devices to write and input orders
• Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• 18 years or older
• Pass a physical capabilities test (if applicable)
• Have personal transportation to access multiple store locations within the assigned shift
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Proof of insurance

• Experience in a retail or grocery environment – understanding store operations, back‑room inventory, and shelf stocking
• Ability to safely move products using equipment such as U‑boats, hand trucks, and pallets
• Experience in merchandising – filling shelves, building displays, rotating products, cleaning shelves, and eliminating out‑of‑stock items
• Managing back‑room/stock‑room inventory – organizing pallets, stacking, and storing inventory
• Customer service – handling complaints, responding to requests, and meeting customer needs
